Become a Participant
Gain your driving hours and build confidence on the road.
Wheels in Motion participants are matched with experienced volunteer mentors, who offer guidance, encouragement, and support.
We understand that not everyone has access to a vehicle or someone to supervise their driving. That’s where we come in. Our program runs in the Clare township and offers an opportunity to learn with the help of caring, experienced mentors who will guide you every step of the way.

Empower young drivers and give back to the community
Make a difference in your Clare Valley community, one driving lesson at a time. We are always on the look out for mentors to assist our learners by providing supervised driving support. We have both day and night hours available.

What People Are Saying
“II would like to thank the sponsors for supporting the Wheels in Motion program. And I would also like to thank the mentors for volunteering their time and supporting me to get my driving hours. Without this program, I would still be depending on my parents to get me to work on the weekends and to school. ”

“Without this program, disadvantaged youth in our community would find it difficult to get their licence. Many do not have adults in their life who have the capacity or a vehicle to support their children.
Living in a rural community such as Clare, job opportunities for these young people may be some distance away so having a license is essential. For many this program provides the avenue to gaining employment and having success in their lives.”

“Being a volunteer mentor with Wheels in Motion has been a wonderful way to come alongside young people in our local community who need some support in gaining their driving hours to obtain their provisional licence. I’ve found while spending time with the young people on the road, it also gives opportunities to be a listening ear and offer some encouragement and advice when needed. It’s a wonderful program and very much needed in rural areas.”
